A Radiant Heart Experience
“If you’re offered a seat on a rocket ship, don’t ask what seat. Just get on.”
Do you remember the last time you were asked to take a leap of faith and landed safely on the other side? Chances are that you weren’t expecting it, but you were willing to try. There may have been plenty of advise to the contrary, but when it comes to opportunity sometimes we just need to let our hearts be our guide.
Our Bowspring practice continues to invite us to grow in a multitude of ways. Beginning with our first few breaths and ending with our final pose, there is endless space to practice Radiant Heart. From the uniform expansion of the rib cage forward, up and away from our roots to the mindful way in which our softest centers are expressed in posture, there isn’t a moment in which our hearts give up on us. And we cannot give up on our practice. Each time we arrive we demonstrate a willingness to step into the unknown, but do so with the belief that we will come out of the experience fuller, stronger and more radiant than before.
There are times when we should pause to consider our actions, to make sure that our choices align with our best intentions. That too is the action of a Radiant Heart. And then there are times when we simply need to get on board. And when that rocket is an opportunity to discover more about the light that resides within each one of us, don’t let it take off without you!
I look forward to seeing all of you on your mats.
