How does your practice shape you? What about your practice might inspire you to share it? And what words might you choose to do so? In our community, we know that Bowspring can be challenging to articulate, and that it has a rhythm all its own. This pulsation is the heart of the practice, one that invites us to move with ease and be present in the world with grace and humility. To be our own partner in this dance that we call life. Bowspring is a beat.
Our lives are constantly in flux, sometimes making it difficult to maintain tranquility from day to day. But we also understand this as the nature of pulsation. Our practice calls on us to learn continually how to foster mindfulness, how to cultivate balance and how to live in harmony. This is certainly reflected in our postures and in our movement, establishing the three spheres of the heart, the hips and the head, and the resultant elongation and tone of the waist and the neck. Once the length of central channel has been established, our poses progress with greater fluidity and ease. As with body, we nourish similar qualities of mind and heart: courage, fortitude, patience and perseverance. Each of which enables us to face any setbacks we encounter with grace and a radiant heart. Bowspring is bold.
So let us celebrate our practice by defining what it means to us. What it inspires in us! And what keeps us coming back. What is Bowspring to you?
